House Mice Information and Control: New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut areas
Appearance 2.5" to 3.5" with a tail, they weight about 1/2oz to 1oz. typically gray, turning to white on its underside.
Habitat Mice are explorers. The will travel around attempting to find new food. When new construction is done, they will inhibit the structure. Their nesting sites are usually dark, making attics a common infestation area.
How do they affect me? Mice can spread many diseases such as salmonella, tapeworm, and fevers. The disease is spread through their droppings left behind.
What should I do? It is imperative that you seal up all possible entrance points on the outside of your home. Good sanitation practices must be implemented.
