Habitat Mosquitoes feed off blood. They lay eggs in water therefore it is imperative to eliminate stagnant water on your property. They are attracted to the CO2 emitted by humans, and are found in warm areas. Africa is one of the most widespread areas with mosquito activity.
How do they affect me? They can transmit harmful diseases such as the well known West Nile Virus. 2 million people die a year in the world from diseases transmitted from mosquitoes.
What should I do? You can control mosquitoes by signing up for our Vector Intervention Program that targets pests that carry diseases around your property. Mosquitoes, ticks and rodents are controlled with this service. As a do it yourself control, standing water must be eliminated on your property, which will prevent them from breeding.
