Baby deer saved!
Posted on June 23, 2008 with No Comments
Savannah was fed everyday a gallon of milk by a farmer in Ohio. She was taken in when she was found to be stuck in a fence, and her mother left her. Savannah is now 4 years old and is alive and well. The neighbors of the farmer have called wildlife control to have her killed because she was eating some of their bushes. Animal control said that they would not kill a deer for eating plants on a residential property, and if any one kills a deer they would be issued two tickets for hunting out of season, and hunting within city limits. Some wildlife experts would like to transport her to a wildlife park to have her merge with other deer.
