Bed bugs are small wingless insects that feed solely upon the blood of warm-blooded animals.  They take residence in small crevices of your house where it is nearly impossible to detect them (places such as stairwells and suitcases, and obviously your bed).  Bed bugs are tiny, just about the size of a poppy seed, and bite human flesh for 3-10 minutes until they are full of blood and content.

In order to help prevent against bed bugs, constantly inspect your bedding and bed frames.  Keep your room clean and clutter-less at all times.  If you think you may have bed bugs please contact us for a free inspection. K-9 Bed Bug Inspections are available as well. If you would like to read more about bed bugs please look at our other bed bugs news.

Another thing that helped me prevent bed bugs was by getting these mattress covers that are made so bed bugs can’t get through them or live in them.

I got mine from http://www.bedbug.com because I could get a lot for cheap.
