Please contact us for more information about our Estate Program. This program is designed for a tighter budget and gives your lawn basic weeds controls and fertilizers to make your lawn green and healthy. Please contact us for more information about our Basic Program. Developed for our clients that want to take an all natural approach and are willing to tolerate certain weeds or insects. This program includes two aerations, seeding, lime, and gypsum. Please contact us for more information about our Organic Program. This cultural practice is imperative for a healthy lawn in our region. This process removes soil cores from your turf allowing air and nutrients to reach root zones. It also relieves soil compaction, allowing roots to expand and flourish. An added benefit is that it breaks down the thatch layer that can harbor damaging insects and disease. Please contact us for more information about our Core Aeration program. Grubs start down deep in the ground below the frost line until soil temperatures start to rise. As temperatures increase, grubs make their way up to the surface where they can find moisture and organic matter. This is normally about two inches below your lawn, in the middle of your grass roots. As grubs feed, they destroy your lawns valuable root system. Symptoms and signs of grub infestations are; browning of turf areas, birds, skunks, and other animals digging in specific locations or lawn areas rolling up like a carpet do to a severed root system. This is only half the story, as grubs are the larvae of adult beetles that feed on the foliage of your valuable trees, shrubs, and flowers, which will ruin landscapes. Please contact us for more information about Grub Control. ![]() PH measures how acid or basic your soil is. If you own a pool you know how important it is to get it right. You get the most out of your chlorine when the PH is just right. The same goes with your lawn. If the ph is in balance (for lawns that is 6.5-7) you will get more out of fertilizers when they are applied. Also grass grows best at a neutral PH, moss and weeds grow best at a low PH. We can perform a simple test to determine the PH of your soil and make the proper adjustments. Please contact us for more information about our Lime Applications. Over the winter months your soil takes a beating from road salts and other pollutants. These types of contaminants kill beneficial earth worms and micro-organisms that further healthy soil. Gypsum revitalizes soils and improves soil structure bestowing a better base for your turf grass. Please contact us for more information about our Gypsum Applications. If you have ever had a mole you know how tenacious they can be. You've probably tried smoke bombs or even piping car exhaust into burrows! We have studied the behavior of moles, and use effective strategic placed low impact traps that capture moles in their running tunnels. A common mistake made is that traps are placed in feeding tunnels that moles may not revisit. Another myth is that moles feed primarily on grubs. In fact their primary food source is earthworms. The challenge is that we need earth worms in the soil for healthy soil and turf. Please contact us for more information about our Mole Control program. Arbor Care Programs We patrol your trees and shrubs throughout the season and inspect them at each visit for insect, disease, and physical damage. We treat infestations over threshold numbers (enough to damage plants) and make notes of improper cultural methods (mulch to high, weed whackers damaging trunks, etc.). Please contact us for more information about our Arbor Care program. ![]() This scientific approach to tree care protects your arbors from the inside out. Like a vaccine, the material is injected into the cambium of the tree or root zones of shrubs. The material is transferred up the plant into leaves were it will control pests when they start to feed. We also use this method if a tree is overhanging a pond or a home or in very sensitive situations Please contact us for more information about our Systemic Injection program. Deep root fertilization gives your plants the nutrients they need to thrive. We inject organic fertilizer into plant root zones under pressure to elevate compacted soils and deliver needed nutrients to root zones. In the forest plants lose leaves when they drop to the ground, turn into top soil and are used again as fertilizer by your plants. At your home when leaves fall they are raked away depriving your trees and shrubs from beneficial nutrients, making them yellow or chlorotic. A healthy tree is a happy tree and can ward off insects and disease more readily. Please contact us for more information about our Deep Root Feeding program. This application is like chapstick for your evergreens. During the winter months cold air can draw moisture out of your plants, leaving leaves with brown edges stressing out your plants. This application is a clear waxy coating that holds moisture in and will also give foliage a shiny look. We can also combine this application with our deer repellent products. Please contact us for more information about our Anti-Dessiccant program. |
